Acer creates a wide range of notebooks for both the business and consumer markets but we’re not too sure where the Extensa range fits in to the scheme of things. For instance, the design is clearly a business-like one, after all it’s based on the old TravelMate style of a thick plastic casing with a keyboard that boasts a five-degree curve, which makes it really comfortable to type on.

Has a 6.4-pound weight. This is not out of line with the product’s price, but is heavier than the average notebook on the market today. The Acer Extensa 5620-6635 comes with no-frills word processing software — serious business or academic writers probably will want to upgrade to a more powerful office suite.Graphics-intensive applications (such as texture-rich games, DVD playback, and video editing) will hinder performance on a system that relies on shared video RAM.

…mates and some of the acer aspires so I would have liked to see a new style of laptop born for there new extensa range. It also has a quite ordinary amount of ram at only 1gb which makes the laptop run quite fast however when trying to run games this laptop was just useless on most of them and it even didn’t run videos off the internet that well either. So most of you would want to put at least another gig in there which you fortunately can
